Winter is on its way out, and there’s hardly a better way to welcome spring than pretending it’s already summer, right? Here are four reasons we love this breezy Mission Beach hideaway—you’re on island time now!

Over-the-Top Tropical Libations

No trip to paradise is complete without your favorite companion at every turn. We’re sure your chosen company will be great, but we’re talking about the cocktails. Miss B’s has more than a few eyebrow-raising concoctions, and some of them are enough to serve a crowd! Sip on something sweet like the Havana Good Time, a mix of vodka, pamplemousse, house grapefruit and cucumber cordial, guava and mint kombucha. Served in an adorable copper flamingo, this crowd favorite comes with a few straws to get everyone started the right way. Prefer a drink of your own? Go for the classic taste of the tropics and order The Coconut Club, a rum mix with house orange and pineapple cordial and cream of coconut.

Wake up and smell the coconuts! Pop in for your slice of paradise any time of day. Open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekends, Miss B’s menu options span breakfast, lunch and dinner with brunch served all the way until 2 p.m. daily, so even the stragglers can savor their long-awaited scramble. For brunch, split a sweet and savory option to get a taste of it all! Start with the breakfast tacos–your choice of protein topped with scrambled eggs, chimichurri rojo, Caribbean guacamole sour cream, cotija cheese and hash brown bites. End things on a sweet note with the coconut rum French toast. For lunch or dinner, start with the plantain coconut shrimp and order the juicy fan-favorite Coconut Club Burger—whatever time you visit, choosing just one dish is a difficult decision.

Exciting Happenings + Events

Paradise almost always implies a luau, and Miss B’s brings a twist to the traditional island event with their unique happenings. Most recently, a laid-back speed dating event was held on Valentine’s Day, and a LGBTQ+ speed dating event was held the prior day! The relaxed atmosphere made for fun nights of meeting and mingling, and though we can’t speak for the coupling, we can speak to the fun. Past events include a spooky Halloween paint night, Pirate’s Week educational rum tasting sessions and industry nights with 52% off drink tabs! If you haven’t attended a Miss B’s event, don’t fret—the fun has just begun! Check their Instagram to stay up to date with all upcoming events!
