Each taco is cooked on a traditional oak-fired grill and smoker and is then topped off with one of their 20 varieties of freshly made salsas. While it’s hard to go wrong with any taco, the culinary team at Solita has come up with some specialty tacos that are truly inventive. Don’t know which to reach for first? We love the pork belly dorado taco, which comes with house-smoked pork belly, amarillo hot sauce, onions, cilantro and slaw and the pescado taco made with pan-seared wild fish and served with their special sauce. Their agave bar features a constantly changing roster of over 70 of Mexico’s finest small-batch tequilas and mezcals. Try a sip of Solita’s exclusive, single-barrel tequila, made specially to pair with the fare. In terms of cocktails, their handcrafted margaritas are made only with 100% blue agave tequila and fresh-squeezed juice. If you enjoy a classic marg, their house margarita is created with tequila blanco, fresh squeezed lime juice and agave nectar. For something a little different, the Spicy Piña margarita features tequila, green chile vodka, muddled pineapple and mint leaves, lime juice and is topped with Jarritos pineapple soda. But if you have a more adventurous palate, the mezcalero, made with smoky mezcal, passion fruit, guava and lime juice with a chile-salt rim, is a must-sip.
