This Disney Channel Star is Loving Her Home in Orange
Expert: Christy Carlson Romano
Credentials: Actress and Producer
Small Screen: Romano’s favorite HGTV Show is “Flip or Flop.”
From Connecticut to West Hollywood and now to Orange County, Christy Carlson Romano, the former voice of Kim Possible and Ren Stevens on Disney Channel’s “Even Stevens,” has moved to the beautiful and rustic city of Orange. With history covering every inch of the quaint town, Orange provides the New England feel that Romano and her husband, Brendan Rooney, grew up loving. Now rooted in a home from 1888, they’re excited to raise their daughter, Isabella, on this side of the country. “We’re both from the East Coast, so this house is our dream house, having the ability to be close enough to Hollywood but with the feel of the East Coast,” said Romano. “The hometown feel of Orange is awesome. This is like a mini Brooklyn—it’s a foodie haven,” Romano added.
The Ghost of Disney Past: “Kim Possible not being on the air seems so silly to me; I want her to be back. I miss that Kim is out there for young girls to see and watch. Kim Possible was really unique,” said Romano.

Upcoming Projects: Kim Possible and Ren Stevens fans, get excited! Romano has several Disney projects in the works. She also started a production company with her husband in Orange.
With the Crew: “Basically being this close to Chapman is really great because when we do production we have an ample amount of crew,” said Romano.
Native Knowledge: Christy and Brendan love the holiday season as they were married on New Year’s Eve and their daughter was born on Christmas Eve.
