El Paseo may be known for its curation of luxury shopping and dining, but there is still plenty you can do here without spending a cent—after all, the best things in life are free! Each First Friday of every month, a fabulous night of art and live entertainment will take place. Start with ArtWalk, a self-guided tour of more than 15 fine art galleries, then head to the Median Art Exhibition, where you can take selfies with beautiful murals. Find singer Whitney Lyman crooning at The Gardens on El Paseo, where there is also a classic car show. Park anywhere along El Paseo’s nine blocks and hop on a free Courtesy Cart to take you where you need to go.
