Friday, Nov. 24 will kick off the season with WildLights at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens celebrating their 25th anniversary. This year’s event will include over one million lights that are expected to sparkle and twinkle and light up the desert. Time flies when it is for a great cause, join your community for an extra special celebration.

Save the date if you are looking for an event that is both family-friendly and educational for all ages. Life-size animal lanterns that replicate the wildlife available for your family photo opportunity. Who knows, it may make it on this year’s holiday card! Spread holiday cheer, listen to live music and experience a beautifully lit tunnel to share an evening stroll.

Now that fall is in full swing, and winter season is soon approaching, The Living Desert is the perfect way to spend your evening as desert temperatures are cooling down. Presented by the H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation, WildLights will include special appearances by Santa and his reindeer.

Come with an appetite because delicious food and drinks will be available for purchase. If it is your first time visiting The Living Desert, this year will be extra special. An opportunity to celebrate 25 years with family, friends and the Palm Desert community.

“Every time someone visits The Living Desert, they help further our mission to save endangered species, so we invite everyone to join the holiday festivities while supporting an important cause,” said Allen Monroe, President and CEO of The Living Desert in a press release. While enjoying festivities this season, it will bring extra holiday cheer to your day, knowing that you are contributing to save endangered animals.

WildLights is open Nov. 24–25, Dec. 1–2, Dec. 8–9 and Dec. 15–24, from 6 to 9 p.m. with last admission at 8:30 p.m.
