Minerva’s at Life House Palm Springs

Restaurant Week Offering: $59 pre-set menu for two

Soak in the retro California vibes when you enjoy Minerva’s dinner for two during Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week. Sit under a shady umbrella as you kick things off with the stone-baked focaccia and bruschetta before enjoying the charcuterie board for your second course. Finally, patrons can choose between a market-fresh branzino or roasted eggplant parmesan as their main course, but if you truly want to enhance your experience, follow the suggested wine pairing for only $25 per person.

Located at The Paloma Resort, Sol Y Sombra is a funky poolside restaurant that boasts a tapas-style menu with plenty of Spanish highlights. The Restaurant Week pre-fixe menu starts with your choice of tapas. Both the chicken and vegan empanadas come with two each, but the Spanish cucumber salad is a lighter and more refreshing option. Though the vegetarian paella is a great option for plant-based diners, the classic paella with chicken, pork and shrimp is a must-order entree. This chef-driven restaurant is pulling out all of the stops for Restaurant Week, offering a three-course experience with plenty of delicious diversity. First course options include high-end dishes like Japanese A5 beef carpaccio and crab croquettes. Whether you prefer steak or seafood, Trio’s array of entrees covers all the bases, with a couple of favorites being the Tomahawk pork chop and prime New York strip.

Restaurant Week Offering: A Night at the Movies Experience

PS Underground is one of the most innovative and unique concepts to land in Greater Palm Springs. In honor of this legendary culinary week, PS Underground has set up a three-part “Night at the Movies” dinner and show. Upon arrival, guests will be seated and treated to a three-course meal that has been specially curated by PS Underground’s Chef Dave. And in order to keep patrons on their toes, the menu is kept a secret. After dinner, guests can enjoy cocktails, wine, and beer at the bar before enjoying a live show featuring talented performers bringing your favorite hits and classics back to life.

The starters include mango summer rolls, chicken lemongrass meatballs or crispy egg rolls, while the entree options range from noodle dishes and curry to Vietnamese crepes. The special Restaurant Week menu allows patrons to experience the best of Cuistot for a fair price, and when it comes to your first course, you’ll have to make some hard decisions. Though the French onion soup never disappoints, the foie gras and duck mousse terrine is beyond decadent. From classic coq au vin to braised lamb leg, the entrees are nothing short of rich and hearty.

The main course features an oven-roasted Halibut served Tuscan-style with sautéed black mussels, pancetta lardo, Cannellini beans, Napa cabbage and sun-dried tomato sauce. Sip on a glass of bubbles and end with a classic Paris-brest pastry!

Both pre-set menus are three courses, and some dishes, like the tropical caprese salad and polenta cake with a cauliflower steak, are served for both lunch and dinner. That said, the entree options for dinner are a bit more elevated. They showcase items like sauteed scallops and chimichurri filet mignon. No matter when you visit, the key lime pie is a must-try dessert.
