Nestled in the seaside neighborhood of Bird Rock, Hermosa Surf captures the laid-back lifestyle of San Diego. Prior to the shop’s conception, owners (and brothers) Attila Betyar and Benny Walter dreamed of a space where surfing, art, design and food could effortlessly intersect. After eight years of dreaming the dream, the duo finally brought their vision to life with the help of Betyar’s “long-time better half,” Katie Gebhardt of Solstice Interiors. Today, their new surf and smoothie sanctuary sits just blocks from the beach on La Jolla Blvd. Here’s what you’ll find within the walls of this swell little space.

Local Insight: “Since 2013, the concept for Hermosa Surf has continuously evolved. We’ve both been following our own career paths while also building up this concept simultaneously.
