Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival
February 15-24
The Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival is the one that started them all—before Indio was even an incorporated city! It makes sense as it’s based around the bounty that fruits forth from the date palm trees that once covered the region. It’s the perfect place to learn more about the region’s history and try a fried date—or two!

Coachella? Sounds Familiar…
April 12-14 and April 19-21
You may have heard of this one before. It’s a just a quaint little music festival with about 125,000 or so of your closest friends, huddled together to hear little independent acts by some underground artists called Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Eminem. All joking aside, the festival is scheduled for two back-to-back weekends starting April 12-14 and ending April 19-21. See you there, flower crown and all!
