I love supporting young women in business! A friend of mine from high school started a jewelry line called The Pacific Jewel Co., and she hand-makes all of the jewelry herself in San Clemente. Not only is the jewelry gorgeous, but each piece has a unique gem or crystal with a special meaning behind it.

My friends and I love to spend afternoons on the hilltop at Salt Creek Beach; the atmosphere is always beautiful and family-friendly. Salt Creek is the perfect environment for a picnic and overlooks one of the best and most scenic surf spots in Orange County. Not to mention that nine times out of 10, the sunset is incredible.
Taco ‘Bout It
My all-time favorite restaurant is Sugar Taco in LA. Sugar Taco’s delicious, all-vegan authentic Mexican food is to die for. They are completely women-owned (I am an investor) and have an incredible eco-friendly business format.

In the springtime, The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch are absolutely stunning. It is a must-see location and will take your breath away. To have the pleasure of being surrounded by thousands of flowers is definitely something special.

My favorite part of being a professional surfer is that I get to be in the ocean on a daily basis. I have always been a water child and an ocean lover at heart. For me, being in the ocean is a very spiritual experience. It is always important to be respectful to the ocean (leaving it better than you found it) and the local surfers.
