10 Things I am Going to Do in Greater Palm Springs Once Quarantine Is F%#@ing Over

Soak Up That Desert Sun

Written By: LOCALE Editors  Post Quarantine Palm Springs

These past few weeks I’ve ordered one too many sweat suits, baked a whole lot of bread and daydreamed about what I’m going to do post-quarantine. 2020 has been uncertain to say the least, but let’s look towards a brighter future together. When it’s safe and recommended by government and health officials to do so, this is how I’m spending my time post-quarantine in Greater Palm Springs.

1 | Desert Getaway Post Quarantine Palm Springs

Vacation or staycation—whatever it may be—I’m living it up in Greater Palm Springs after quarantine. Noteworthy resorts include Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa, Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa or Riviera Palm Springs for ultimate relaxation. Soak in the warm desert sun as your worries melt away.

2 | Juice, Hike, Repeat  Post Quarantine Palm Springs

A raw, organic and fresh juice sets my tone for the day. My go-to drink is The Original at Fresh Juice Bar. I’m feeling energized and ready to conquer a hike after slurping down this refreshing juice. I can’t wait to get back on those hiking trails with a group of my outdoorsy-friends!

3 | Lunch at Heirloom Craft Kitchen

Dining with friends, surrounded by strangers, thinking every meal that the waiter walks by with is yours—yeah, I miss those times. Heirloom Craft Kitchen in Indio has delicious tater tots and lemon avocado toast that make for the ideal lunch. See you there!

4 | Shopping Is My Cardio Post Quarantine Palm Springs

Ah, to get dressed and go shopping for even more clothes! I’m grabbing my credit card and hitting Blonde Boutique, Zense, Elizabeth & Prince, Rancho Relaxo and splurging at Leeds & Sons. Shop ‘till ya drop, am I right?

5 | A Stop at Libra Post Quarantine Palm Springs

Libra has curated, trustworthy and premium cannabis products. Libra isn’t intimidating to explore–the staff guides you with knowledgeable recommendations. I’m going to browse around and pick up a few products I love.

6 | Coffee Shop Grind

A workspace other than my dining room table is desperately needed. Coffee shops are my go-to work environment, providing inspiration and the necessary amount of caffeine to complete an assignment. While I typically like exploring a new coffee shop each time, my go-tos are IW Coffee and Chai Bar, Old Town Coffee Company and Ernest Coffee

7 | Dinner

There’s nothing like indulging in your favorite meal at dinner. I’m booking a reservation as soon as I can at Catalan, Ristorante Mamma Gina, Trio, Casuelas Café, Cork Tree and  Lulu California Bistro. It’s been a while since dining out, so I’m going all in with appetizers, drinks, main dishes and dessert. Cheers!

8 | Whole Lotta Hugs

This one is pretty straight-forward, but hugging family and friends is definitely on the list for post-quarantine.

9 | Plan an International Trip

Saving destination pins on Pinterest, searching for flights and looking at past photos of trips has been a weekly routine of mine, and the day will soon come when a trip can be booked! (I’m not packing my bags already…)

10 | Appreciate the Small Things

Like chatting with a stranger, being surrounded by loved ones, showing gratitude towards frontline workers and appreciating good health.
