Revivals continues to revive the community one store at a time! The newly renovated Palm Springs location’s grand re-modeling took place on Oct. 14, retrofitted with iconic turquoise and orange colors to accent each wall. The best part was the energetic passion that every employee and volunteer has for Desert AIDS Project. It’s easy to see why, as 100 percent of Revivals’ profit are donated to the Desert AIDS Project.

Steven Henke gave a warm introduction to the newly designed showroom that looked equally as snazzy as any high-end boutique furniture store. He mentioned, “Revivals’ goal is to allow the local community to shop and enjoy their family dinners in style; everyone should feel like they can sit at a nice table no matter your socioeconomic level.” New art, mirrored-walls and midcentury modern furniture all tied in with the decor.

The energy continued during and after the ribbon cutting. Everyone from the Revivals team was present, alongside Mayor Robert Moon, and shoppers anxiously waiting to experience the freshly renovated store. Coffee and freshly baked muffins from Ristretto for Coffee Lovers were readily available while guests patiently waited in line. It was an early morning to-do in Palm Springs. Once you walked into the store, the staff diligently handed out red baskets to shoppers for a more convenient shopping experience. Friendly staff, great people and an inviting atmosphere was a recipe for this successful event. To make it even more appetizing, tacos were provided for those who browsed during lunch time.

Music by DJ Baz played softly in the background as attendees excitedly searched for treasures. Unlike most consignment stores, Revivals has a shopper-friendly layout. Whether your goal is to find new shirts from Will Stiles, Scott Living furniture or vintage clothing, everything is well organized and easily accessible. It harmoniously comes together for the value seeker who is on the hunt for great home décor and clothing. Plus, they can leave feeling great about their purchases knowing that the proceeds will directly impact someone within the community.

Director of Retail, Dane Koch, mentioned that now having renovated all locations, Revivals hopes to open new stores in the future. Revivals also works with Desert AIDS Project case managers to assist individuals by providing furniture and home goods. This Saturday showed support from the community for a great cause while paying it forward!
