Pups got their paws wet with information Thursday, March 29 when local dogs and owners had the chance to meet trainers from the Italian School of Water Rescue Dogs. Partnered with Puppy Prodigies, L’Auberge Del Mar hosted the event from 5 to 7 p.m. in the outdoor amphitheater. Two highly water-trained pups, Cori and Ricochet attended as heroic mascots for water safety and awareness. Locals were invited to bring their own beloved canines to learn more from the skilled trainers on site and dog treats were provided by Dexter’s Deli and human-friendly bites and sips were made available by the resort. Plus, there were adoptable pups from Labs and More Rescue as well as CAF to add a new furry friend to your family.
