Monday: I wake up with either a cortado or cold brew before reviewing all weekend business. Then I wind down with The Gladiator Pizza and a glass of red wine from The Luggage Room.

Tuesday: This is typically my day off and mommy-daughter time while my husband writes. [My daughter] Eloise and I go to PlayLab where we burn energy and earn Lark Cake Shop treats—the cold brew icebox is a must!

Wednesday: Early morning coffee—obviously—followed by a Lavender & Honey picnic at the Rose Bowl. Next is storytime at Vroman’s if we can swing it before I start a long night of work.

Thursday: A later start to the day and a walk to Lavender & Honey for a cappuccino where I check in on the morning crew. I’ll enjoy kimchi fried rice at Daisy Mint to finish the day.

Friday: Ramen at Modan or sushi at Matsuri, then we rent movies at Vidéothèque—one of the few great and remaining video stores.

Saturday: Quintessential #PasadenaSaturday starting with brunch at Magnolia House; I go big with a pork belly breakfast sando and a cold brew to power me. Win(e)d down at the best little wine shop, Everson Royce.

Sunday: If you couldn’t already tell, my days generally revolve around my daughter, coffee and wine or beer—in that order. Sunday Fun Day takes us to The Huntington for morning coffee and then to Golden Road Brewing.
