Best Lawyer South Bay

Law Firms

Theta Law Firm

Q: How does it feel to be voted as one of South Bay’s favorite law firms?

Michael Ayzen and Soheyl Tahsildoost: It feels amazing! We are so happy to know that our clients are happy with our work and have bestowed us with this great honor.

Q: What is your favorite/least favorite part of your job?

MA and SH: The best part of our job is getting to meet and interact with our clients and knowing we have made a positive impact in their lives. Our least favorite part of the job is dealing with all of the necessary but tedious administrative tasks that take time away from the actual practice of law but that’s the nature of running your own business.

Q: How did you get into your chosen practice?

MA and SH: We got into personal injury work in an effort to help everyday people. Helping people and businesses in need was always the founding principle of this firm and we seek to make that happen through our law practice.

Q: What do you feel sets you apart from other personal injury/employment law firms?

MA and SH: We truly feel that our ability to communicate with our clients and to let them know that they have us on their side is what sets us apart. Building personal relationships and achieving the best results for our clients is our priority. We very strongly believe that the client should always come first and every day we strive to make sure that motto is maintained. And unlike most attorneys, we return phone calls!

Q: On the lighter side, What current TV shows portraying lawyers or law firms do you find are most realistic?

MA and SH: In this office, we love to watch ‘Better Call Saul’ and ‘Suits’ although I don’t know that those are very realistic portrayals of lawyers or law firms. My Cousin Vinny is actually really good when it comes to showing what it’s like to be a lawyer and although it’s not a TV show, it is a great movie!

Farahi Law Firm

Q: How does it feel to be voted as one of South Bay’s favorite law firms?

Justin Farahi: It is truly a blessing and an honor to work in the South Bay. It is a rare pocket of Los Angeles that still has the community feeling. We are honored, especially when there are so many exceptional attorneys working in this beautiful community. We understand that a client’s injury is a serious matter and we help our clients get the medical care they need and money they deserve after an accident or incident. Clearly, we are doing it right! I want to thank my clients for this amazing honor. Our formula is simple, give people the customer service and dedicated legal staff that they deserve after an accident or incident.

Q: What is your favorite/least favorite part of your job?

JF: We love the opportunity to help people get back on their feet and financially compensated after an injury. There is no better feeling than helping someone get to the doctors they need when their health insurance or budget won’t allow it. We step in and get our client to a specialist asap! Hearing ‘I have fully recovered from my injury’ is the best news our office can get. Then we fight to get them the compensation they deserve for the pain, trauma and time spent recovering from an injury they didn’t cause, we never forget that our client is the victim of their circumstances. What we hate are the greedy insurance companies that think it’s a game not to pay our clients what they deserve. More times than not, our clients are ignored until they obtain our services because the insurance companies make billions of dollars by trying not to pay people what they deserve. We fight and level the playing field for our clients.

Q: How did you get into your chosen practice?

JF: It was our desire to help people that drove all of us at Farahi Law Firm to practice personal injury law. There is no more rewarding area of law than helping someone suffering physically, emotionally and financially. We really have the ability to change lives. We couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

Q: What do you feel sets you apart from other personal injury firms?

JF: Again, we think there are wonderful law firms across the South Bay. I think our firm just goes that extra mile when it comes to truly understanding the needs and wants of our clients. We’re all human, we all have different needs. Some clients need more help getting to specialists, while other clients need to get into a rental asap so they don’t miss a day of work at a new job they love. We help everyone and their specific needs. We take our clients’ needs very seriously.

Q: On the lighter side, what current TV shows portraying lawyers or law firms do you find are most realistic?

JF: We really love the show ‘Suits.’ It isn’t entirely realistic but it is very entertaining. We all strive to be perfect.

Patinelli and Chang

Q: How does it feel to be voted as one of South Bay’s favorite law firms?

John W. Chang: We are very excited and honored and this reaffirms that we are doing something right.

Q: What is your favorite/least favorite part of your job?

JC: Our favorite part of our job is getting to know our wonderful clients and their families and making a difference in their lives. Our least favorite part of the job is when our clients become incapacitated or pass away.

Q: How did you get into your chosen practice?

JC: We have always enjoyed interacting with clients rather than being adversarial and in estate planning you get to do that and see the results of your legal work immediately by providing our clients peace of mind.

Q: What do you feel sets you apart from other estate planning firms?

JC: The thing that set us apart from other firms is our service. We return every call on time, respond to emails and questions, even on weekends. We are 100 percent dedicated to our clients and we make free house calls.

Shirazi Law Firm

Q: How does it feel to be voted as one of South Bay’s favorite law firms?

Emanuel Shirazi: Very grateful and proud.

Q: What is your favorite/least favorite part of your job?

ES: Favorite part is helping people who have been wronged by their employers. Least favorite are those rare occurrences where my opposing counsel is unprofessional.

Q: How did you get into your chosen practice?

ES: During my first summer in law school I worked for a law firm and got assigned to an employment case. I immediately loved employment law and have continued pursuing it in the 17 years since.

Q: What do you feel sets you apart from other employment law firms?

ES: We specialize only in employment law and only represent employees. Specializing for almost 15 years, trial experience, and my prior experience representing employers really give us an advantage in getting our clients the best results.

Q: On the lighter side, what current TV shows portraying lawyers or law firms do you find are most realistic?

ES: All lawyer TV shows are grossly unrealistic. But, the show closest to portraying big law firm life is ‘Suits.’

Best Lawyer South Bay

Lawyers

Richard Greenbaum

Q: How does it feel to be voted as one of South Bay’s favorite lawyers?

Richard Greenbaum: It feels great to be recognized in that manner. It means that what I am doing as an attorney is having a positive impact on my clients; enough that they took the time and made the effort to vote for me.

Q: What TV/movie lawyer do you most identify with?

RG: As much as I would love to say Jackie Chiles from “Seinfeld,” or maybe Denny Crane from “Boston Public,” I would have trouble supporting those choices. I will go with Harvey Specter from “Suits,” and his belief that there is always another way to get the best results for a client.

Q: What do you feel sets you apart from other South Bay lawyers?

RG: I believe that my “partnering with my clients” approach to business law sets me apart. I see myself as the legal department for small businesses, allowing business owners and management to handle what they do best, leaving the legal aspects of the business to me.

Q: Describe your ideal day at the office?

RG: My ideal day at the office would include meeting with new clients to discuss how I can best assist them, and then resolving a business dispute or solving or preventing a legal problem for an existing client.

Q: What is the best part of being a lawyer in the South Bay?

RG: Aside from the benefits of the location itself, I enjoy practicing law in the South Bay because of the diversity of clients that I have the opportunity of assisting. I have met great people, with whom I have developed close business and personal relationships. I always welcome the opportunity to meet new people, from a variety of businesses, and play a role in helping them reach their goals.
