Tempe Diablo Stadium is located in the vibrant and eclectic college town of Tempe. It’s a picturesque venue set against a backdrop of palm trees and rocky desert buttes, and since 1993, the ballpark has served as the spring training home base for the Los Angeles Angels. It might be the oldest and smallest spring training facility in the Cactus League, but passionate baseball fans come back to Diablo Stadium every spring for its electric atmosphere, lush lawn seats, buzzy party suites and craveworthy brisket-topped hot dogs. And with a new highly respected manager (Ron Washington), veteran legend Mike Trout as well as a core of fresh, young talent this season, Angels fans are hopeful their team will come out strong this year despite losing Shohei Ohtani to the Dodgers.
