New Yearās Eve Dinner will take place in the Lighthouse Room and is only open to adults 21+. On Saturday, Dec. 31, from 9 p.m.-1 a.m., you can dance into the New Year at Balboa Bay Resortās Studio 54 Party! This disco by the bay will feature a performance by Funky Hippeez Show and a sprawling dance floor in the Grand Ballroom. There will also be a sparkling wine toast at midnight, party favors and late-night snacks. Tickets cost $195 plus tax, gratuity and fees.

No holiday season is complete without a day (or two) of shopping. Whether youāre a last-minute shopper or simply want to pass the time browsing through holiday sales, Balboa Bay Resort is a fantastic destination for shopaholics. Itās close to two major OC malls, South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island, but more importantly, itās only a five-minute drive to the fabulous waterfront boutiques at Lido Marina Village. You can also peruse the resortās shops, and we especially recommend doing this on Mondays from 3-5 p.m. when Balboa Bay Resort throws its weekly Sip + Shop event.
