Rhythm & Brews Concert Series at The District at Tustin Legacy

Nothing screams summer more than free outdoor concerts that have a beer and wine lounge. That’s why The District’s Rhythm & Brews Concert Series is the hot spot to be in July and August. Beginning on July 9th from 6-8 p.m., this seven-week series features some of your favorite tribute artists including The Kelly Boyz with country line dancing, Illusion’s Stevie Nicks tribute, Woodie and the Longboards’ Beach Boys tribute and more. While enjoying the music, be sure to visit The District’s Beer and Wine Lounge where you can pick up a craft beer or glass of wine and take it back to your seat. 100% of beer and wine proceeds will benefit The Boys & Girls Clubs of Tustin.

Kamp District at The District at Tustin Legacy

Sometimes, it can be difficult to fill in the long summer days. Taking the family to The District at Tustin Legacy for their free Kamp District Kids’ Series is a must-do on Thursdays in July and August. Starting on July 21st from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., children can decorate their own Kamp Pass and collect stamps at the activity stations each week. Enjoy Ocean Kamp, Adventure Kamp, Sports Kamp and Art Kamp with themed kids crafts, storytelling, costumed characters, face painting, balloon art and more. Kamp District Kids’ Series is the inventive and creative outlet your children are craving during the summer. 

 

The District’s Emerging Artists’ Nights

Discover new artists and original songs on Friday nights starting July 8 through August 19 from 6-8 p.m. The District’s Emerging Artists’ Nights will feature a variety of up-and-coming artists performing acoustic sets in the AMC Fountain Courtyard. Grab dinner from one of the many restaurants at the center and dine alfresco while enjoying new music from these talented singers, songwriters and musicians, coached by the famous OC Hit Recording Studio. You never know, you may just see one of these artists on the big screen in the future!

Movies in the Park

If you’re a dog lover you might want to listen in on this one. Every Friday in July, starting on July 8th, you and your beloved pooch are welcome to attend Tustin’s “Movies in the Park” event, where you can set up a picnic with friends and family and watch one of the many pet-themed blockbusters we all know and love. Your dog is not only welcome but can be unleashed to play with the other pooches during the film. With free admission, doggy bags provided and complimentary snacks, this experience is perfect for family night or a date night with your beau…making it totally pawsome

Rock 101 Summer Camp

Instead of tying lanyards at every other humdrum summer camp, why not send your children to Rock 101 camp where they can explore musical instruments and embrace their passion for music? For beginners between the ages of 7-12, the School of Rock Tustin offers a summer camp where students can learn from highly experienced musicians and find their rhythm through rock and roll. Rock 101 is only for one week and will conclude with a concert showcasing the students. So pick up your sticks, find your drums and get your rock on with the School of Rock Tustin!
