Gucci on El Paseo in Palm Desert gets a new look for 2019, and we are loving it! The highly anticipated new store in The Gardens on El Paseo opened its doors on Aug. 23. The interior design of the boutique is posh and opulent, yet perfectly balanced and casual. The contrasting charm of the avant-garde blended with classic style is a Gucci specialty.
Relocated and upgraded from its former location on the north end of El Paseo, the impressive new location is over 4,000 square feet and brimming with a stunning assortment of men’s and women’s merchandise. The luxury store’s modern makeover is polished and seductive—you won’t be able to resist documenting a visit on your social (as if seeing all our favorite influencers decked out in Gucci isn’t reason enough to visit).
Being one of the world’s leading fashion houses, Gucci has always been influential and progressive. The quality of their merchandise is of the highest Italian craftsmanship, and the attention to detail is meticulous. It’s not surprising that when reinventing an existing store, the results would be nothing short of a masterpiece. Upon entering the reimagined El Paseo staple, geometric tile floors counterpoise a sea of cool blue and cyan shelves. The energizing colors are found throughout the store—even on the ceiling—and are a perfect backdrop to showcase the gorgeous handbags, shoes, clothing, leather goods and accessories. Natural material accents create warmth and add to the elegant resort-style experience. Chevron wood floors juxtaposed to the vibrant shelving add another textural element while maintaining a clean and sophisticated look. Vintage-style rugs lend a cozy layer, which has a unique way of harmonizing the endless summer vibe. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the beauty or simply want to take it all in, feel free to take a seat on one of the many rattan chairs strategically placed throughout the store. Gucci staycation, anyone?
