US Open of Surfing
When: Saturday, July 30 – Sunday, Aug. 7
Where: Huntington Beach
The world’s largest surf competition is happening right here in Surf City, and it’s free to watch. You’ll be able to observe world-class surfers compete against each other right from the Huntington Beach Pier. OC Fair
When: Friday, July 15 – Sunday, August 14
Where: Costa Mesa

OC Parks Sunset Cinema Series
When: Friday, Aug. 12 + Friday, Aug. 19
Where: Laguna Niguel
This year’s Sunset Cinema film series has family-friendly movies playing at dusk at different regional parks all throughout OC. Catch “Raya and the Last Dragon” on the 12th and “Back to the Future” on the 19th at Laguna Niguel Regional Park. Movies begin at 8 p.m. or right after sundown. Guests of all ages are welcome. Food trucks and concessions will be onsite and beer and wine is available for those 21 and over.

OneRepublic Concert
When: Friday, Aug. 19
Where: Anaheim
OneRepublic’s aptly named tour, Never Ending Summer, is coming to OC. They’ll be touring with Christian rock band NEEDTOBREATHE. The show is happening at the Honda Center, an indoor arena and one of the best venues in OC for live entertainment. Tickets start at $40, and the band will be donating $1 from every ticket purchased to organizations bringing dignity, equity and access to communities who need it.
