The Palms opened its doors in 2001 and underwent a $600 million renovation in 2019; over the years, the resort has become one of Sin City’s most popular destinations. If you’ve visited in the past, you likely have fond memories here! You might remember their swanky suites from MTV’s “The Real World” or remember it as the place where celebrities liked to party. But with new renovations comes a new beginning. “We are proud and humbled to be making history as the first Tribal-owned property in Las Vegas, and our job is to do it right and make it a positive experience,” shares Kevin Glass, vice president of hospitality at Palms.

Modern Rooms + Specialty Suites

Not only are the updated rooms modern and chic, they also have the brightest view of the Las Vegas Strip. Choose between their signature rooms or one of the stylish suites that offer plenty of space for fun. “There are 10 types of themed specialty suites, including the basketball-inspired Hardwood Suite, the Kingpin Suite for bowling lovers and the Cinema Suite for movie aficionados,” says Glass. Trying to pick the perfect suite might be the biggest gamble you make all weekend.

Return of the Ghost Bar

With the return of Palms comes the return of its famous rooftop hangout, Ghost Bar (coming this summer). This sleek Las Vegas lounge takes the party to the next level with its panoramic views from the 55th floor. Since its opening in 2001, people have traveled from all over the world to hang out at this hot spot, so it’s no surprise Palms is proud to welcome guests back. From day to night, it’s always time to party at this trendy spot.

Calling All Foodies

Scotch 80 Prime

When it comes to enticing eats, Palms is a foodie’s dream. “From rare steaks and vintage whiskeys to enticing dim sum, mouthwatering barbeque and famed noodle dishes, Palms is an established dining powerhouse in Las Vegas,” explains Glass. Along with the reopening of its beloved signature eateries comes a collaboration with acclaimed chef Michael Symon. His classic American barbeque restaurant, Mabel’s BBQ, and contemporary steakhouse, Scotch 80 Prime, are divine places to dine before hitting the town.

Dive Into Pool Season

Is it a coincidence the resort is reopening during prime pool season? We think not. With over 70,000 square feet to explore, the Palms pools have plenty of space to relax (and recover) in your own oasis. You can choose to lay out at one of their two pools or upgrade to a cabana with a personal pool. They’re also gearing up to have live outdoor concerts and DJs, so be on the lookout for lineups.

Whether you’re with your best friends, celebrating a special occasion or here for a work trip, Palms won’t disappoint. With live entertainment throughout the property and memorable performances set to happen at the renovated Pearl Theater, this new era for the Palms will exceed all expectations. “Our goal is simple—to deliver a truly distinctive experience that makes you feel at home while you are in Las Vegas,” says Glass.
