From Happy Hour to Prime Rib Wednesdays, Here Are 5 Reasons Palm Desert’s Stuft

This Will Be Your New Go-To Spot!

Stuft Pizza Bar and Grill in La Quinta and Palm Desert is a popular foodie hotspot because it truly has something for everyone! Offering quality pizza and other fan-favorite cuisine in the desert for 18 years, Stuft Pizza has built a tried-and-true name for their family-owned pizzeria. In 1976, Jack and Pat Bertram opened the first Stuft Pizza and offered pizza only on a take-out basis. But Jack had his eye on bigger and better things. With the help of his kids, they expanded upon the traditional pizzeria concept, and today, you can get a lot more on the menu at Stuft Pizza. To celebrate their 18 year anniversary in La Quinta, head in on Nov. 7! Here’s why we love this tasty locale for just about every occasion.

Flavors for Every Palate

This restaurant has come a long way from only offering pies to go. For starters, try the Southwestern egg rolls or an antipasto salad. You’ll also find main dishes like citrus herb Atlantic salmon and bone-in pork chops on its diverse menu. And if you love a good ‘za, you’ll have to try the Classic Stuft Special Combo. Stuft Pizza even offers a gluten-free thin-crust option! For dessert, indulge in Stuft This–a variety of ice creams layered over an Oreo cookie crust.

A Lively Atmosphere

In keeping with its diverse menu, you can enjoy lunch or dinner in a variety of spaces, both indoors and out. You can catch a game on one of the big-screen TVs in the bar or throughout the restaurant, opt to have dinner in the more formal dining room or enjoy lunch on its large, covered patio. There truly is space for everyone, no matter the occasion.

Amazing Wine Selections

Stuft Pizza offers a broad range of wines–all at great prices. The menu features over 25 wines by the glass, over 20 by the half-bottle and over 70 reserve wines! If you love whites, try the La Crema chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast at $40 a bottle or the Concha y Toro Frontera pinot grigio from Chile, (just $8 a glass). Splurge on a reserve wine like Veuve Clicquot champagne from France or a full-bodied red like the Louis Martini cabernet sauvignon 2018.

Meat Eaters Rejoice!

If you have a craving for a decadent slice of prime rib, snag a table during Prime Rib Night on Wednesdays. You’ll get a generous 12-ounce piece of meat soaked in au jus with mashed potatoes and a variety of vegetables. This special is only $25.99 beginning at 3 p.m. every Wednesday! And now, you can add yourself to the waitlist prior to arriving at Stuft Pizza, to minimize your wait for those busy nights.

Best Happy Hour in the Desert

You can enjoy happy hour at every seat, every day of the week from 3 to 6 p.m. at Stuft Pizza. All pints of draft beer are $5, Stuft Sangria, house margaritas, well drinks and house wines by the glass are just $6 and all mugs of beer (25oz) are $7. You’ll want to grab a bite to go with your drinks, and a wide variety of appetizers that include street tacos, Cajun ahi, calamari steak strips and small pizzas are also offered at special prices.
