Get Ready for a Magical Evening in Laguna Beach!

The Drake is a legendary Laguna Beach restaurant known for its impressive menu, swanky aesthetic and live jazz and blues music. The Drake, however, is more than just a trendy south OC venue; it’s an establishment dedicated to giving back to the community. The owner of The Drake, Alec Glasser, learned to play the saxophone at age 12 and believes the experience helped shape his life for the better. Now, it’s his mission with The Drake Gives to provide the same kind of opportunity for children of public schools that have been affected by budget cuts. “My wish is for today’s generation of kids to experience the joy and creativity of music,” says Glasser. The nonprofit has partnered with the Save The Music Foundation to inspire youth through the power of music.

If you would like to make an impact and support this cause, mark your calendar for The Drake’s Summer Soul-stice VIP Event, which is happening on Tuesday, June 22 from 6-9 p.m.!

The intimate evening will be a celebration of the longest day of the year while supporting The Drake Gives’ charitable endeavors. Guests are encouraged to dress in gold and white attire for this enchanted evening at The Drake. You can also enjoy flavorful hors d’oeuvres from Chef Paul Gstrein, specialty cocktails and a very “high energy” auction hosted by auctioneer Zack Krone.

Some of the available to bid on will include a private golf lesson from world-renowned golf instructor Rick Smith, a three-night stay at The Palms in Las Vegas with a $1,000 flight credit, a private catered dinner for up to eight people and so much more! Tickets for the Summer Soul-stice are $250 each and will be limited in supply. The event is expected to reach capacity quickly, so be sure to purchase your tickets here!

The goal for the Summer Soul-stice event is to raise over $100,000, which would equate to 2,000 students getting access to instruments, music education and instruction. Glasser explains, “With every $50 raised, The Drake Gives and Save The Music are able to support music education and provide a child with an instrument of their own for a year!”
