Start Small

At Physician’s Center for Renewal, medical director and master injector, Dr. Michael Cerni, is dedicated to creating individualized cosmetic treatments for all new patients. Wheeler advises that anyone who is interested in injections should first do their research. Then, she recommends they make an appointment to sit down and see what is right for them.

Injections may seem daunting at first, but Wheeler recommends new patients come in and see what methods make them look and feel their best. “Fillers will enhance and replace the volume that was lost in the skin, so the end result will make them look more refreshed and revitalized,” she says.

The Earlier, the Better

There is no perfect age to start getting injected, but Wheeler encourages people to start sooner rather than later. “I always suggest that new patients start injecting botox and fillers in their mid- to late-twenties. Even if you’re getting a late start, we cater to making our patients look as natural as possible while supplying quality injectables that will last longer than ones from other aesthetics offices,” Wheeler states.

Before and after you have injections or fillers, nurturing your skin is crucial for the summer glow we all desire. “I always tell our patients that hydration is key. That doesn’t mean you can never go out in the sun. It means keeping your skin moisturized, investing in quality skincare products, and maintaining a consistent routine,” she says.

“If you aren’t sure where to start, book a consultation! We’ll develop a treatment plan individualized to you and what you’d like the end result to look like. And it won’t cost thousands of dollars when we curate a plan that is tailored to you,” Wheeler adds. To book your consultation, make an appointment over the phone or online. Reservations are required.
