Camp Under the Stars at This Retro Trailer Pond Set on 130 Acres in Paso Robles

The Ideal Destination for a Romantic Weekend Away, Bachelorette Party or Wine–Tasting Trip With Friends

You need a vacation. Maybe you don’t have the time for an extravagant trip (that also makes a significant decrease in your bank account), but you do have a weekend, right? And this is the weekend escape you’ve been looking for. Trailer Pond Paso Robles

Call up your girlfriends, your S/O or a group of your wine-loving friends and road trip up to The Trailer Pond located on the California Central Coast. Situated in Paso Robles (about 200 miles north of Los Angeles), The Trailer Pond is where camping meets wine tasting. Not just sleep-in-a-tent kind of camping, but one-of-a-kind camping in vintage trailers (that are oh, so Insta-worthy).

Launched by the company Tinker Tin in 2016, founder and owner Jaime Holm explains that they always dreamt of expanding and adding a permanent camp to their business. Four years later, the company is a huge success—you typically have to book your stay at The Trailer Pond months in advance.

Five bright, retro trailers surround the property’s pond, each with their own little front porch. Each trailer sleeps one to three adults. While you sleep in comfort––and style––it’s still a camping experience. “There is a communal outdoor camp kitchen that includes all pots and pans, communal bathrooms, hot outdoor showers and an amazing dock for lounging under the night sky with perfect visibility of the stars!” explains Holm.

The Trailer Pond is tucked away on 130 acres of the organically farmed, boutique Alta Colina winery. “The way Alta Colina cares for their land, the vines and their business was very much in line––so our partnership was formed, and the rest is history!” Holm beams. Exclusive access to Alta Colina wine is offered to guests staying at The Trailer Pond. “When you’re drinking Alta Colina wine at The Trailer Pond, you’re drinking wine made from grapes grown in the vineyard you’re camping in.”

Spend a weekend unplugged, outside in the sunshine and with a glass of vino in hand. Private wine tastings are available on the Sundowner Deck, and catered farm-to-table dinners are available for groups. Hike through the bright green vineyards, take a relaxing private yoga class and relax with sunset movie nights in the magical vineyard. Don’t forget your film or disposable camera!

Individual trailers are available for booking, as well as group offerings and packages. Whether its a bachelorette party, a work retreat or a romantic weekend away, The Trailer Pond awaits your next weekend adventure.
